Rooh Afza Matcha Latte – Easy Rose Matcha Drink

A refreshing Rooh Afza matcha latte made with rose syrup, milk and matcha. A beautiful pink and green iced matcha drink you can make at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon ceremonial or high-quality matcha powder I used Yamasan Kyoto Ceremonial Grade Matcha!
  • 60 ml hot water not boiling
  • 2 tablespoons Rooh Afza syrup
  • 180 ml milk dairy or plant-based
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

Prepare the matcha

  • Add the matcha powder to a small bowl and pour in the hot water. Whisk using a matcha whisk or small whisk until smooth and slightly frothy.

Prepare the glass

  • Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.

Add the rose syrup

  • Pour 2 tablespoons of Rooh Afza over the ice.

Add the milk

  • Pour milk into the glass until it is about three quarters full.

Finish the drink

  • Slowly pour the frothed matcha over the milk so it sits on top and creates a layered effect.

Stir before drinking

  • Stir the drink gently so the matcha, milk and rose syrup combine.
