Festive Cranberry Drink

Festive Cranberry Drink

This is an easy, festive cranberry drink that looks impressive without much effort. My homemade ice cubes are such a nice way to make a simple drink feel a bit more fancy! Perfect for any dinner parties you might be planning on hosting this Christmas.
Total Time:10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 6 Quarter slices of orange
  • 6 Small sprigs of rosemary
  • Cherries fresh or frozen
  • 6 Star anise
  • Cranberry juice
  • Extra Large ice-cube moulds — I've linked the ones I used
  • 6 150ml cans of Schweppes Lemonade
  • Edible gold dust spray optional-mine was from Sainsbury’s

Instructions

  • Add an orange quarter, a rosemary sprig, a couple of cherries and a star anise to each section of the ice-cube mould.
  • Pour cranberry juice over the top to fill the moulds.
  • Freeze overnight or for at least six hours.
  • Once fully frozen, remove the cubes and keep them in the freezer until needed.
  • Add one ice cube to a glass.
  • Pour in cranberry juice until the glass is about half full.
  • Top up with Schweppes Lemonade.
  • Add a small pinch of gold dust if you want a subtle festive shimmer.
